Participating in Nepal Eye Camp
In a poor country like Nepal, access to medical care is still limited.
Therefore, we need to provide free medical care with the assistance of foreign NGOs (non-governmental organizations) such as the Asia Eye Medical Cooperation Association, of which I am an officer.
The first eye camp since 2003 was held in the mountain village of Bhojpur. Over the three days, it achieved great success, with 3,500 outpatients receiving treatment and 108 people undergoing cataract surgery, saving many people from blindness and causing great joy.
